Bios Urn is much more than an urn — it’s a catalyst for life. The simple and functional form of the Bios Urn is designed as a practical vessel in which to inter the ashes of a loved one with a growing plant. Suitable for both humans and pets, this type of commemoration offers the opportunity for a thoughtful memorial which plays a part in the natural cycle of regeneration.

Bios Urn is made in two sections. The top section contains a degradable bag of premium grow medium, and the base section is for the ashes.

Before you bury the urn, you will need to select a suitable seedling from your local garden centre. This provides you with the opportunity to make a more personal selection and allows you to find a plant type that is suitable and pre-hardened to your location. Your urn is ready to bury once you have added your growth medium, soil and seedling. Plant it where you want it to grow and can take care of it. It is made using 100% biodegradable materials and is respectful to the environment in all the ways possible.
